Teeth Basilosaurus
A superb range of Basilosaurus teeth from a primitive toothed whale, dating from the Eocene Period, 40 to 34 million years ago. It was unrelated to modern whales and was able to grasp and chew its food. They grew to around 60 feet in length and were fast swimmers. All Basilosaurus teeth are rare, and particularly large ones.
