BLACK HILLS INSTITUTE
I had the great pleasure of visiting The Black Hills Institute last year.
The Institute has been at the forefront of paleontological excavations and preparation of fossil finds since 1974.
They have been involved in the excavation of 8 T Rex skeletons, including the most famous T Rex Sue, now in the Field Museum in Chicago.
Most of their finds are of the most complete T Rex skeletons ever discovered.
Their museum is small, but contains some amazing fossils, including mounted Dinosaur skeletons, fish, ammonites, and much more, beautifully prepared by themselves.
Their shop has fossils for sale, also replicas, and an excellent library on many topics.
A visit is highly recommended
