Fossil Crocodile
Product description
Well preserved crocodile skull, associated vertebrae and leg bones from Khourigba, Morocco. These creatures lived during the Cretaceous, and this specimen is 65 million years old, still in its plaster fied jacket used to protect it when it was removed from the surrounding rock and transported to the preparation laboratory.
This species grew up to 24 feet long, and was a fierce predator.
Its descendants have changed little over the last 65m years, and are widespread throughout Africa.
This is a really excellent specimen of this large reptile, with a large number of associated vertebrae.
