High quality fossilised Grasshopper on original matrix, dating from the Early Cretaceous Period, 113 million years old. It was discovered in the Crato Formation, Araripe Basin, North East Brazil. All the fossils from this location show amazing soft tissue preservation. It is no longer allowed to collect fossils from this location.
