Ichthyosaur Bone Plate
Product description
Ichthyosaur, maening "Fish LIzard", swam in the Mesazoic Ocean, and spanned the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods, 208m to 146m years ago, during the time of the Dinosaurs.
They were not very fishlike in that they had the appearance of lizards with fins, but they were fast swimmers, enabling them to catch their prey.
They were voracious predators, and ate anything that came their way.
This bone plate contains ribs, part of a scapula, and other assorted bones, including part of a flipper.
A nice collectable piece for lovers of English Ichthyosaurs.
Can be mounted if requested.
