Keichousaurus reptile
Product description
An excellent example of this reptile, Keichousaurus hui, from Gizhou Province, China. These creatures date from the Triassic, 245m to 208m years ago, and were small in size, around 6" to 12", with long necks and tails.
Although they had sturdy legs it is widely accepted that they lived in water.
They appear to have originated in China, but later migrated to what is now Europe via the Tethys Sea.
This is a really fine example of a complete reptile, with good definition of the bone structure, and a strong black colouration of the fossil.
A great display piece, which can be framed or mounted if required.
