An undescribed plant fossil, discovered in Sentinel Butte, North Dakota, USA. It dates from the Paleocene, 58 million years ago.
Because of the huge variety of plant species, many have not yet been categorised.
 
This is a good specimen showing great contrast of colour between the stems/leaves and the matrix.
