Mantelliceras Ammonite from the Anti Atlas Mountains, Morocco.
It dates from the Cretaceous, 135m to 65m years ago.
They were marine creatures related to Nautiloids, and swam using air for buoyancy in the chambers of their shells.
A large, and fair example of this long extinct creature.
Fossil Size : 17cm Diameter.
Weight : 3kg.
