Mantelliceras Ammonite Group
Product description
Well preserved group of eight Mantelliceras ammonites from the Cretaceous, 135m years old. They were discovered in the Anti Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
They were marine creatures related to todays Nautiloids, and swam using air for buoyancy in the chambers of their shells.
This is an unusual and attractive piece mounted on a stone base.
It would look incredible in any setting.
