Monster Diggers

EXXON MOBIL is the main sponsor of the "MONSTER DIGGERS" project in Norway.
 
It is headed up by the Natural History Museum, University of Oslo, and the aim was to excavate fossil skeletons discovered at Svalbard in Norway.
The skeletons included one of the largest marine predators from the Jurassic, 150 million years ago, a Pliosaurus.
 
The skeleton has now been transported to Oslo, where it will be restored to its original glory, and eventually put on display.
