Moroccan Proetus Trilobite

Product description

This creature is a Proetus Trilobite from the Sahara Desert in Morocco. It hails from the Devonian Period, 416m to 359m years ago.
It was a bottom dwelling sea creature, lying in wait for prey in the mud of the sea floor.
It is a distant ancestor of the modern Horseshoe Crab.
