Huge Mososaur double jaw
Product description
This is a very large double Mososaur jaw, Liodon anceps, discovered in the Cretaceous layer at Khourigba, Morocco. This specimen is 65 million years old, and as can be seen from the photographs, one side of the jaw is lying on top of the other.
The teeth are absolutely huge, and these obviously come from a very large creature.
They grew up to over 40 feet in length and were voracious predators, eating large fish, turtles, and Plesiosaurs.
Their modern day descendants are creatures such as Monitor Lizards, and Gila Monsters.
A wonderful piece to own and display.
A stand can be produced for this specimen if requested.
