A really well presented Platyscutellum formosum trilobite, discovered in the Anti Atlas mountains of Morocco.

The trilobite dates from the Devonian Period, 395 to 345 million years old.

Typical of this trilobite is the rounded, fanned out, pygidium.

A great specimen in superb condition to add to a collection, or an interesting and different gift.
