Water ripples on the rock
Icniotherium footprints
Rare Permian Reptile
Ripple Rock and footprints
Product description
This is one of the most unusual and rare pieces to come into our possession. It consists of two slabs of rock, the upper part displaying the ripples from flowing water passing above it, and the lower part shows the footprints of a Permian reptile, classified as Icniotherium cottae.
They were discovered in Wambiercyc, Poland, and date from 290 million years ago.
The ripple effect on the rock is, in itself, very unusual, but the footprints make this a must for serious collectors.
Icniotherium was an early Permian reptile.
A wonderful collectors item.
Size: 32cms x 19cms.
