Spinosaurus pair small tail verts
Product description
A rare find of two small tail vertebrae from the fearsome Carcharodontosaurus, or African T Rex. Carcharodontosaurus iguensis lived 98m to 93m years ago, and was one of the largest carniverous dinosaurs ever known to have existed.
It was a fearsome predator, weighing over 6 tons, and 40 feet long. It lived in Africa and has been dubbed the African T Rex.
Carcharodonotsaurus means "Shark Lizard", a name taken from the extinct shark genus Carcharodon. The creature had enormous jaws full of sharp, serrated teeth up to 8 inches long.
These bones were found amongst other fragments and teeth, and have been attributed to the Carcharodontosaurus.
The bones are free of matrix and have been treated with a preservative to keep them stable.
This is a great fossil at a very low price for the Dinosaur enthusiast.
