Product description

An agglomeration of Turitella sp Gastropod shells, from the Miocene Era, 23.8m to 5.3m years ago.
This specimen was discovered in Lacoste, France.

They were a genus of medium sized sea snails, and had a cone shaped, tightly coiled shell.

They are still prevalent in the oceans of today.

There are a large number of all sizes, present in the matrix.
