A super quality Aegar tipularis shrimp. discovered in the Solnhofen Limestone, Eichstatt, Germany. It dates from the Upper Jurassic Pariod, 154 to 144 million years old, and is on the original matrix. Some of the most beautiful preservation is found in the Solnhofen limestone deposits in Germany. This specimen is excellent for display, and has super preservation. It lived in the sand on the Ocean floor, scavenging for food. The Solnhofen fossils are white when discovered so have been tinted for display purposes.
