A beautiful plate with a Shark and an Amigatus Fish, discovered in Hakel, Lebanon.
It dates from the Upper Cretaceous, 98 million years old.
On the reverse of the plate are 2 Carpopanaeus Shrimps
Sharks are super rare as they normally are only known by their teeth or vertebrae.
Their bodies are made of cartilage so are almost never preserved.
A great opportunity to add this to your collection.
