Product description

This is a prehistoric sea turtle skull, Lytoloma elegans, from Khouribga, Morocco. They lived before the mass extinction of the dinosaurs and survived into the Paleocene, 60 million years ago. Today only 7 species of sea turtle exist and all are endangered. This is a large skull with minor restoration, and a great addition to any collection.
