An amazing Spider, of the order, Opilionide, from the Crato Formation, Brazil. The legs are intact, and spiders are rare from this location. On original matrix, dating from the Early Cretaceous Period, 113 million years old. It was discovered in the Crato Formation, Araripe Basin, North East Brazil. All the fossils from this location show amazing soft tissue preservation. It is no longer allowed to collect fossils from this location. We purchased many insect fossils when it was legal to do so from the Crato Formation. We have supplied Museums and many private collectors around the world with these.
