Product description

This is a super example of an Hamatolenus Trilobite showing both negative and positive images. It dates from the Cambrian Period, and is 500 million years old, discovered in Jebl Wawrmast, Morocco. The rich orange colour is a product of the iron oxide within the rock in which these trilobites are found. the preservation of the long genal spines is extraordinary.
